The importance of education in life cannot be overstated. It shapes individuals in their formative year. It is said :
If you are planning for a year, sow rice;
If you are planning for a decade, plant tree;
If you are planning for lifetime, educate people.
I firmly believe that the quality of education will determine the destiny of nation.
At SGVP we provide opportunity to each child to explore one’s capabilities through scholastic and co-scholastic activities and to develop the potentialities as an individual also as a member of the society. We help the children develop qualities that will make them confident and independent as they grow by building their self-confidence, enthusiasm, self-discipline, skills like problem solving, decision making, social and respect towards environment and nation.
Children who focus only on increasing information and developing their knowledge and skill will not be fulfilling life as an adult. Life demands more than knowledge and skill. As knowledge expands education spreads, a whole lot of people get cleverer, but they do not become happier and the world they help to build does not become any better. Because, cleverness is hollow when it does not have good values to back it. It is like a dry well. Hence, in addition to knowledge and skill parents and teachers must model good values to the children.
If is rightly said –
‘Our character shows in what we do when we think no one is watching.’
SGVP is committed to provide a fusion of ethical values of the East with modern technology and the latest teaching methodology of the West in true and practical sense. Here the teachers take up the responsibility to enable and empower the learner to emerge as empowered youth ready to take up challenge of the rapidly changing world.
The visionary saints of Gurukul remain persistent to promote an atmosphere of trust, support and care, as they believe that every child, parent and staff of SGVP International School must experience a sense of belonging.
We look forward for your suggestions and support to serve the children better.
