Pocket Money
To meet day-to-day expenses such as stationary, personal needs, snacks, picnic, phone calls, laundry etc., the student's Pocket Money Account is being maintained. As hostel does not permit the keeping or handling of cash by students, computerized account is maintained by hostel administration and all such expenses are deducted from the account directly.
The Pocket Money accounts are activated at the beginning of the year when the fees for the said account for a particular student is received.
The parents should ensure to deposit pocket money in any branch of ICICI Bank on or before the date as mentioned in the Application Booklet in favour of "FCHOST" for yearly pocket expenses. Reconciliation of the same is done at the end of each term.
Parent's written consent is must for the expenses other than regular spending like purchases to be made outside the campus, participation fees of various competitions and tickets/transportation charges of students traveling alone during vacation or while on leave. It will not be made available otherwise.
Charges for long tours/excursions, birthday party, special treat to fellow students, etc. can be adjusted from pocket money account if such request is made. The same amount should be paid within 30 days of the spending.
Written statement of the Pocket Money account for each student will be made available to the parents at the end of each term for their reference.
